Q.4 Explore the Internet for information on your site the site, especially for data that helps to place your site in context; for example, competitors, industry averages, growth rates for some sites.
Describe your site in terms of number of visitors, etc, using data found from the sites listed above.
Propertypal have numerous competitors are Uk and Ireland as their are alot of property sellers than there used to be which will effect their profit and loss.
Q.5 Explore the processes involved in purchasing on your chosen site. Describe the different steps in these processes, in terms of the technology that is being used, from typing the web address into the browser to a product being delivered to your door
When in propertypal.com if a user is wanting to buy a house the first type in the address wer they are looking for or the are to see what houses that are for sale in that area. Then the user selects the house they want to look at and then a page showing all the details of the house, pictures and videosof the house and also the agents contact details. One feature that the buyer could also use is to have the option to recieve text messages of the latest price of the house. This would cost the user £0.25 for every text message.
Q6. New channels to market for e-business are increasingly being used. Such channels include mobile device access as well as digital television access. Consider and describe the potential future impact of ONE of these channels for your e-business from the perspective of the e-business. What strategic choices (if any) need to be made.
Currently at the minute propertypal have an option for the customer to check what the latest prices on the house they are viewing and to recieve text message on bid to that house so that they can be kept up to date on the house as soon as possible. In the future i think that this will increase more and more in buisnesses sales and profit as the customers is kept up to date about th house without having to make a phone call or recieve a phone call. As technology grows and grows there will be more added features to help buisnesses and customers.
